Although two of the referees found this manuscript interesting and useful, the remaining one recommended that it would be rejected for publication in Chemistry Letters becuase of the reasons below. Although only one referee gave us negative comments, the points raised by him/her are worthy of deliberate consideration. Considering all the comments, the data presented here have something useful and important for particular researchers, but not for general readers of Chemistry Letters. Not to mention of urgency, novelty and broad interest leading to a new chemistry, which are key factors for Chemistry Letters.

We have finished initial evaluation on the manuscript. I acknowledge that the manuscript contains important technical details on Raman spectroscopy for determining CO2 density in fluid illusions in minerals. I agree that the effect of temperature to Raman spectra are one of the important issue for precise spectral measurements. However, it is very difficult to find impact in geochemistry which convince urgency and novelty for Express Letters in Geochemical Journal
